Wedding Extravaganza
June 1st 10 am to 5 pm
The Atlantic Avenue Wedding Extravaganza
is an all-day
event which will feature walking tours and merchant discounts including
dozens of the area's wedding-related shops, salons, and venues, plus two
mock wedding ceremonies, a puppy wedding costume contest, live music
and more.

The day will kick off at 10:00 am with dual brunches at
Atlantic Avenue restaurants M.O.B. and Bacchus.

Registration for the
day's events will then begin at 11:00 am at Boerum Place between
Atlantic and Pacific Avenues, a tree-lined brownstone block in Cobble
Hill which will be closed off for the Wedding Extravaganza.
At 1:30 a mock wedding will be staged at Roulette
Parlor will be one of the presenters of bridal hair styling available on Atlantic Avenue
At 11:00 am and
2:00 pm, couples preparing to tie the knot can take a Wedding Walking
Tour which, in just a few blocks' span, will cover their wedding needs
from start to finish and a little bit beyond.
Starting at
noon and continuing until 4:30, a wedding entertainment showcase will
fill the block with live music from popular local bands.
