The Atlantic Antic with Betty Bakery!!!
On Sunday, September 30th, The Parlor Beauty Squad teamed up with the gals at Betty Bakery for the infamous Atlantic Antic. Up at the crack of dawn, curlers and brushes ready for action, transforming the Betty Bakery gals into “Rosey the Riveter” inspired; bright and cheerful pin-ups ready to serve the public their delicious treats. The day evolved into a wonderful opportunity of getting to know our neighbors!
With festivities officially beginning at Noon, we had much preparation to make before go time, in order to have the Betty’s of Betty Bakery looking fantastic for the fair.
The Atlantic Antic is an annual event featuring the merchants on Atlantic Avenue, and surrounding areas, lined up in street fair fashion. This was the 38th year of its existence, stretching on for a good mile from Hicks Street to 4th Avenue, there was plenty of music, food, and fun to be had!
